Yeah itís the same. I have the 8500 and it worked fine. I used the update from Samsung ZA website. But I did notice that my TV does not see my DLNA files after the update. I canít find a fix for it. Might factory reset my TV to see if that fixes it.

Edit: Fixed my dlna issue by resetting smarthub

Thanks guys! I wish they would list what each update entails, it's always a case of hoping the update doesn't cause any problems

Yeah that would be nice. I posted a YouTube vid review of the update a few posts back. Btw I fixed my nas issue by resetting the smarthub. Seems to be a known issue for people using dlna

I'm going to run my update now. Thanks for the fix, at least I know what to do if something gets messed up

I read through the AVForum review for the KS7500 and it looks to be identical to our KS8 series. So next up I used the AVForum settings for SDR and HDR and so far Iím pretty impressed.

I set the contrast, brightness etc. as well as the 2-point and colour space settings from this review:

Problem was fixed by resetting the TV back to factory settings... Now do I set up using this video or the one posted by kenmasters on page 1 @Madala_ZA

Either should be good, not much variation between the Samsung models.
