Default PS4 fat jet engine overheat repair

So I got my PS4 a year after launch and for the past few months when I play any game it sounds like a plane about to take off. The last few weeks however the problem is worse as sometimes it will overheat show a red light and shut down. Can anyone recommend a place in Cape Town that can fix this.

Hi, just open it up and blow the dust out with compressed air.

There is a thread somewhere here on this site regarding a self repair option. Here's a link to console doctor. Actually just spoke to him. He doe's a service for about R450, replaces thermal stuff for you. and cleans the machine.

@Myth is way cheaper and he does it while you wait. Did an excellent job on my brothers PS4, came back and it was whisper quiet.

Might be dust or dried up thermal paste. I can assist with a service @ R200

Throw it in the bin and buy a new one.

9/10 this can't actually be fixed.

The nearest thing to a fix is a fan controller that stops it from going flat out, but it's still not exactly quiet.
