No need to reply to me about this, I'm not debating with someone who reads news articles that use the word "trigger" in them.
Why, you... triggered by it perhaps?

Don't take yourself so seriously my good man, no one else does.

So all in all it's actually a pretty good example.
Never anything I have experienced. Paintball City in Germiston doesn't allow us out the field without putting the cover over our guns. Some guys even make you remove the remaining paintballs inside as well. This was still the case 2 weeks ago when I was there for a promotional event.

    Battlezone does the same.

So yeah from my personal experience and the people that ran the events they were regulated quite well.

Not sure what the article has to do with it, I'm specifically referring to painball within the regulated areas as it ties into what Stu was implying, you are going over the context of people using paintball guns out of their specific scenario which is a completely different thing. It's like saying the violent TV programs that were brought up are now being used as weapons because people are putting them on a VHS and running around the streets throwing them in an attempt to hurt or damage people/property.

Stu posts an Infowars Alex Jones "article"

Absolutely, especially if you have a Glock, then there's no reason not to.
That little time you need to pull the slide back could make all the difference.

@Stu and to all other firearm owners

The new draft for the Firearm Control Amendment bill was posted this morning on the Martin J Hood and Associates Facebook group, as well as shared on the Gun Owners of SA group on Facebook.

If the bill is passed in the future (hopefully we stand together as gun owners together with our gun organisations and it is changed dramatically) as it currently reads, then the following happens (ranked in order of insanity) :

Section 13 and 14 are repealed. Self defense is not a valid reason for owning a firearm anymore.

You can also only have 25 rounds at max, unless the registrar authorizes the specific number of rounds you motivate for

You can no longer allow a person 16 years old or under to shoot your firearm under your direct supervision.
They have to be older than 16, and you must have had your license for 3 years before it is allowed.

All green licenses will have to move over to white licenses within 2 years.
S15 and S16 licenses only valid for 5 years. Competency also valid for only 5 years.

To get a Section 16 license, you must have complied with your organisations requirements for Dedicated Status for 24 months before you apply.

Max 2 handguns under Section 16, and max 8 firearms total.

If you surrender a firearm during an amnesty, you cannot apply for a license for that firearm.

You will need a medical report from health professional for competency applications now.

Establishing a ballistics database, which means you need to take your gun in so they can fire and retrieve a cartridge which is done every renewal or when you transfer ownership.

Plus ton of other changes which are pretty much all negative.

It's clear that the government won't be happy until only their bodyguards and criminals have guns.

wtf!! So if self defence is not a valid reason to own a firearm anymore, does that mean I have to give up my Glock or can I apply for a sports/hunting licence for the Glock?

This is utter madness. I have no words.
