Starting to make me wonder since the Switch has the issue with the USB-C cables that are not from Nintendo or rather does not have the built in ohm resistance.

Yeah I'm aware of the issues around plugging in directly.

I'm more trying to wrap my head around why it would make it click instead of just bit starting up at all.

Yes agree confusing. I am so paranoid now I keep on taking my headset off to listen for any weird sounds. Played bf1, pubg and witcher 3 and no weird sounds. Also before fan ramp up and down and nothing now..hope not a sign it close to dying

OK this thing is faulty..registered it now and it says warranty till 15/2/2019 but when i register a fault / repair i get this message:

Out Of Warranty - Out of Region - Standard Exchange - Localize Console
    (ZAR 2994.1799)

Once non-functioning unit is received, it will be replaced with a refurbished device configured to the region of your ship-to address.

Is this normal? replaced by a refurbished unit?

change your region on XBL to SA. will then be in warranty.
tell MS support this they should give new / update your reference number. Make it clear it was an Amazon purchase.
get console to nearest MS shipping agent (one in Kempton Park). No cables or controller.
they will more than likely replace with brand new unit.

  9. Saying Thanks:
