Default Worth upgrading to Onkyo TX-SR373

I currently have SONY STR-DE598 but I can get the Onkyo TX-SR373 for R4700, shop giving me a discount since I bought Klipsch R-15M and R-14S speakers from them. This will be run with those speakers and my old Sony SS-CN350 Centre and huge Sony Sub.

Worth getting the Onkyo amp over my current Sony factoring in the price?

It depends on why you want to upgrade. In terms of amplification they appear equally matched, however the Onkyo offers Ultra HD and lossless codec support.

The HDMI for the Consoles etc. remote control, mine was stolen. Little things. Because it's little things it makes it hard to decide.

I just went and bought it. Going to vlog the Sony amp to make up some randelas. Thanks for the input @KenMasters.

Edit: Overall impressed with the Amp, no major sound difference from the Sony, but love that AccuEQ though, so easy to setup speakers with it and the back speakers in surround do sound a bit better. I'll play some more as I have time.
It does allow HDR to pass through on the PS4 and Xbox One.
