OLEDs do not do well in bright rooms since every pixel is self illuminating it means no backlight to push darks up in brightness.

Burn in is sadly part of the product. Game for prolonged enough with static imagery on the screen and you will notice it after some time. How long? I can't say since after 2 years on all of my OLEDs I haven't noticed anything. But I am using recommended SDR and HDR settings so it doesnt over expend pixels on normal content.
Yeah those are probably gonna keep me away from OLED for a while, the burn in I can deal with but I need good bright room performance.
I don't really use this much

If the sunlight falls directly on the screen that can be an issue as well, as sunlight itself can burn in.

I was actually under the impression they were quite close, well dang seems I'm sticking to Oled after all then

So it's a vampire TV too, OLED really does everything these days.

my room is absolutely dark, so Oled is the best for me.

My tv actually has like 15+ ****ed pixels on the top very close to the border but you can't see them unless you stand up and look for them. So I thought instead of replacing it now, I wait until the 2 year guarantee is almost up (my guarentee ends 2023 April, then an extended 3 year warranty starts around then which I will try to transfer to the new one) and then they will replace it with a C1 or C2 in the future.

It's the first time in my life that I thought to myself it's a good thing to have a faulty panel

Some people would call that being an ass, but a faulty product is a faulty product. They need to up their game in the quality control department. A tv with so many faulty pixels is a big no no, might even increase by the time I claim the guarentee.

I have a LG GX 65 in my office near a window and it’s ok, no issues, the C1 isn’t actually as bright as the CX/GX but that’s fine as well, the Qled’s are better in a very bright room though

Yeah same here. Just reflections can be annoying but I close the curtains when it gets a bit much
