Last I heard was that there were "significant delays at the various mail hubs due to shortages of resources".

It turns out that BangGood was wrong! The last time I contacted BangGood I was informed that the item arrived in SA, this morning I was informed that the item never arrived in SA and they offered a full refund.

    Never ordering from them again!

    Thanks everyone

Note: Where can I find ip cameras in South Africa at good prices? (I know the prices won't be BangGood prices).
I ordered a Mavic Pro drone from them and got it in 2 weeks without any issues. Having one bad experience sucks, but they giving you a full refund. might want to try them again sometime down the line and who knows your parcel might still show up anyway.

    That is strange.

Shouldn’t be going to SAPO at all and handled directly by the courier.

Think it was DHL last time round for me.

Print out the tracking details of your parcel and show it to them. Last line should read something like "arrival at office (Post Office).
That might get their lazy ass into action.

    He was just being lazy.

Like the SourOne, I too have fetched parcels without the slip. I write the tracking number and my name on a piece of paper, and they look in the back for it.

I actually asked them if they could send it by DHL or FedEx, they response was: it must be sent by Air Mail

@Papelucho1982 Sup, I used to import all my stuff through SAPO in the beginning but switched over to forwarding company a while ago cuz I was waiting to long for my parcel's.

I've lost the numbers to phone but I have a few email addresses from SAPO & SARS (import duties you need to pay) that you can contact. Contact SARS and send them your invoice, it will speed up the process as they will ask SAPO for your parcel to access it for duties, vat ect.

That being said, it usually takes a week for your parcel to arrive in SA, once here, youll prob wait 2-3 more weeks before it arrives at your local post office, unless you go and collect from the JHB or CPT hub directly.

    SAPO:

    - Mavis.Katjeni @ postoffice dot co dot za
    - Lindsay.Hopley @ postoffice dot co dot za

    SARS:

    - Tjohnson @ sars dot gov dot za
    - RAbrahams @ sars dot gov dot za

EDIT: Next time use a forwarding company like Aramex or MyUS ect. Shipping is kinda cheap (depends on the weight) and its usually at my door within a week. They also handle customs ect for you.

no he is being lazy, However I don't have a tracking number they can use, it's from China and means nothing to them.
