    Default Upgrades via Vodacom online store?

    I have been due for an upgrade since early June but have been lazy to go into the Cellucity store from which I have taken my upgrade since my first Samsung Galaxy S.

    I see one is able to upgrade using https://myvodacom.secure.vodacom.co.za. Has anyone done this recently? If so was it a smooth process, and was the correct device delivered in good time?

    I wouldn’t do it and in fact it’s one of the reasons I left Vodacom.

    You never get a copy of the contract and they are still searching for the original copy of my upgrade...while charging me without any problem or concern at all.

    Get it on paper so when it all goes wrong you have a leg to stand on.

    Is the contract not emailed to you? I would expect that.

    I suppose the inconvenience of getting out of pyjamas and heading to the shops is justified for the peace of mind of getting that written contract. Of course I have never had reason to refer to my contract for many a year.

    So would I...yet it never happened.

    In my case it was that the contract didn’t “take” then magically six months later they start suddenly billing me for it and it was just a **** show from there on out as nobody could find this actual contract and request to upgrade and nobody cares to find or reverse it either.

    I let it run it run its course and then severed my relationship with Vodacom for a complete failure to come to the party on top of zero signal at my new house with promises of sorting that out and it also never happening.
