    Default Warframe Beginner Guide

It is always a good idea to check out the Warframe website, at www.warframe.com, because the site itself contains a lot of useful information. Anyway, Warframe is a game that can be rather intimidating to new players. This is because the game is fairly complex and there is a ton of stuff to do in this game. To make things even more complicated there is no in-game manual or player guide of any kind. Warframe is pretty much a game where you (the player) has to figure out everything for yourself. This can be daunting, because as I've already said there is a lot of stuff in this game. There are two very important things new players need to know about Warframe. 01: The game is free-to-play, meaning you can download (and play) it for free. This also means that you do NOT need PS PLUS to play the game. 02: The game is an always online game. You need to be connected to the Internet the whole time in order to play the game. In addition to this your save file is not stored on your console. It is stored on the game's servers. So nobody can cheat by hacking their save file. This also means that even if you completely delete the game from your system your save will always remain intact, and you can pick up where you left off whenever you install the game again.

Always remember that the in-game codex (accessed from the main bridge on your ship) is your friend. Access it to learn about the game's many different aspects. The Codex is also where you access the story mode missions from, under the "Quests" tab.

VERY IMPORTANT: The developers of Warframe are constantly patching the game as well as adding new content on a regular basis. Because of this the game is constantly changing and getting better.

To help out new players get to grips with the game you can go and watch the following videos:

Quick tip for new players: you start the game with 50 free Platinum, and it's recommended to use your starting Platinum to buy an extra Warframe slot and then spend what's left on extra weapon slots.

I also found something that will be immensely helpful to new players. It's called the "unofficial Warframe handbook", by a Reddit user who goes by the name of DapperMuffin. You can find it here, (be warned though, it's a hell of a long read, because it covers everything that new players need to know to get started.):

I found a handy little tool to help people farm the prime parts they are looking for. Check out this web link: https://wf.xuerian.net/#welcome

In the "Wishlist" part you just check-mark the specific prime parts you are looking for and then click on "Reliquary", and it will show you which relics have the parts you are looking for, where to find the relics, and what the odds are of those relics dropping. Just hover your mouse cursor over each section to see what planets/missions you can find each relic on.

One thing to note is that the bounties on Earth -> Cetus is not beginner-friendly. Do not attempt to do the bounties unless you are more familiar with the game and already have decent gear.
