Default Original iPad - what games can I play?

    Hey all,

I was cleaning up my electronics drawer (actually looking for my DS) and came across my 1st gen iPad. I don't seem to have a charger for it, but before I buy one, am I able to play any games on it? Are even older games made obsolete for it with the new ios not being available?

I have my eye on Baldur's Gate and other similar games in particular.

Very much doubt Baldur's Gate would run on it as that came long after that iPad generation.

I have issues just using my iPad 2 for anything too exciting so I wouldn't even bother if I was you.

Ok cool, well I actually found a cable so I'll give it a go, but the thing isn't turning on It's been at least a year since it was last turned on so maybe it needs a couple of hours. Maybe I have something on there worth playing already.

Yeah it would have discharged deeply. Needs a good 10 minutes before it will come to life.

However not having been used the battery may very well have popped.

I got it on and it's working fine, but it's a paperweight essentially because of the firmware being outdated. I can't even get the Netflix app which would have been good enough for me :/

There's a work around but I need access to an Apple product that's up to date so I'll try get my hands on one.

I'll probably jailbreak it and see if it's usable at all, otherwise back in the drawer it goes
