Evetech are advertising an MSI Armor 1080 plus 256gig SSD for R7999.00.

Not the most gracious looking card but good price.

I'm still banking on this exchange rate fiasco to push prices up enough for me to comfortably ask R10k for my 1080ti.

I don't think there are any 1080tis advertised for over R9k on Carb. One went for as low as 7.8k. I would not wait too long for new prices to drop on the old cards, as they'll most likely just sell out. Rebeltech had a nice Gigabyte GTX 1080 for about R7.8k but that's gone now.

There are 1080s going for between 7-8.5k. Hell, I even saw one for 6.5k on carb!

Haven't seen Ti above 9k, 8-8.5 is the sweet spot.

I can imagine the only ones letting their tis go for that price are those that need the money for a 2080 or 2080ti in advance. I can comfortably wait it out.

Once the RTX cards are out the prices for second hand 1080tis will fall even more
