    Default 1080Ti Prices?

You guys reckon with the dismal exchange rate, it will go up, stay the same or go down?

I dunno. 15k for a 2080 but on carb I have seen 1080ti's go for 9k. Once it hits 8k im jumping on one second hand. You shopping for a 1080Ti?

I can't see the prices going up, retailers will want to clear old stock. Carb has already sold at least 1 1080ti for under R8k and they are around that mark currently.

It might go up. Games and console hardware has already been confirmed as going up.

XboxOneX's new retail price is R8999 for example.

I'm also looking on Carb. But haven't found one that hasn't been mined on yet. Considering new.

Yeah, prices are dropping on Carb but not quite there yet.

I think it will go up, so maybe grab that 9k one, whats a 1000 after all when you already spend 8000.

I'm gonna be charging R10k for mine once I have the new card unless the Rand recovers to sub R14 levels.

Well, looks like the all the new ones are gone. Will have to wait for more stock.

Mailed Evetech. Apparently the 1080s are out of production now and they're waiting for more stock.

Yup. Kinda what I was counting on. Diminished supply, increased exchange rate, increased demand... will easily move my 1080ti for R10k.

On a side note though, with the 2k series nvidia pretty much created a new market. I hope AMD holds onto the lower end and midrange at reasonable pricing.
