    Maybe not your TV, but you can buy an IPS TV if you like the look of your monitor. TVs also offer better HDR performance, and there's no such thing as an OLED monitor.

    No I haven't, but TVs do offer variable refresh rate now and accept 120Hz input.

    I think its more to do with pricing, you get a lot more bang for your buck picture quality wise from a monitor than you do from a large TV.

    You're confusing pixel response with input response. The figure your quoting is the grey to grey pixel transition speed (also not a reliable figure), not the input response.

    Like I said, 9ms for the fastest monitors vs 12ms for the fastest IPS TV - difference is absolutely negligible. The best picture quality TVs offer input response figures of 15-21ms, which is satisfyingly snappy (this is using traditional metrics, HFR and VRR throw up lower numbers).

    Did you ever get this? It's a bit more than the Mecer one but it's flat. Doesn't seem like a bad deal, all considered.

    Hi, no I didn't get the monitor. It is pricey so I am waiting.
