    Unhappy RTX2070 ...um, yeah...

So here is a few reviews:

So the big thing about the card is ofcoarse its the replacement for the 1080. That is all fine and well but unless we see a 2070 retailing for between R7500-10k it's going to be a hard sell. Then there is the problem that with pascal selling out the demand might just push the pricing the 2070 levels.

Never the less the 2070 vs 1080 make a whole lot more sense than the 2080 vs 1080ti argument although both have the issue of its the same current rasterized performance at a new pricing level with no idea of what RTX on will perform like.

You can get a 1080 for as low as R8100. The cheapest 1070 is R9500 but that said a lot of 1080s still go for up to and over 12k.

So 2 weeks later and all that can be said with our pricing is that the 2070 is a direct replacement for the 1080. Same price, same performance. How much sense it makes is up to the purchaser because RTX is still absent from games. That said if the 2080ti can't hit 60fps then what will the 2070 do in games.

The 2080ti makes as much sense as a Titan card so despite the price it still has a purpose.

The 2080 on the other hand makes next to no sense. Performances matching the 1080ti but more expensive in most cases and 3gb less ram makes a difference in the medium run. Not sure which other games other than FF15 uses that 11GB or more.
