    Default Anybody having issues with Telkom LTE in Joburg area ?

    My speeds are insanely slow around 0.81mb download and 600ms, just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues ?

    Nope, got 6mb when I was downloading something last night.

    Got a more specific area maybe?

    Sandton Area, my speeds are going between 0.62 and 12mb now, but ping is an absolute mess... randing between 125ms and 1212ms.

    I've had issues since the weekend as well (Pretoria) but it seemed to be fine last night. I read somewhere (Think twitter) that they had some major cable theft somewhere and they are busy replacing it making the network unstable

    Surprisingly I was in pretoria over the weekend as well and speeds/ping where terrible on telkom LTE, anyway to to monitor the situation and see when they will have the issue fixed ?

    Way too many things that could be causing the erratic speeds. If it persists try and log a complaint. Might just need to reset something at a tower. I think you can do it through the self service portal or maybe the terrible the app.

    I find when i get to work in Devland and switch to 3G only its gets a bit better.
