Default [H] No Save Offline button in YouTube - Lenovo TB-X103F

I'm at my wits end with this tablet. It's my sister in law's and she bought it specifically so her son could watch youtube videos when they travel.

But the Save Offline option is nowhere to be found. I initially thought maybe it's not there for videos that can't be saved offline but it's definitely not there.

Am I losing my mind? Is there something stupidly obvious I'm missing? A surface Google search didn't help. Going to try and dig deeper from a laptop when I can but if really appreciate some advice on this.

Maybe the tablet is too junk and has a light version of YouTube installed?

    Try YouTube Go...

Haven't used it myself but I'm to understand it was specifically designed for that

I think it had something to do with the location settings. That seems to be the only reason the option should be absent.

I factory reset it and chose English SA and that did the trick.
