This was only introduced to simplify matchmaking for Dungeon finder, and group finder, both features that probably will not be available in Classic, so there will be no reason for cross realm. If they go full Classic, groups will have to be formed in trade chat in the local cities like back in the day, or in /Local in that specific area where the dungeon is present. (Or obviously just in guild chat)

Like group finder for quickly getting into a dungeon time wise.

I don't like group finder cause it kills off the social aspect.

I found that I knew most of the top people in my faction even though they didnt know me.

After group finder and some time it felt like i didnt know anyone.

One thing you need to remember is that before group finder, the player base was much older, and more mature than it is now, so knowing people was a good thing, and the raiding community specifically was much more hardcore.

In today's version of the game, with Internet widely being accessible to every 10-year old, the player base is far more immature, flaming, and trolling than it was back when you had tons of hard core guilds, vs todays more casual player base.

What is better to be a guild master or to order gold here? Can I earn as a guild master for a token?
