Question Recommended Anti-Virus for Windows 10

Norton has been our AV of choice for the past Windows 7 era and while its been good a few issues has popped up with it. However we will be moving over to windows 10 and while my personal choice is avast I need a recommendation on what anti-virus if any I should use with Windows 10. I know that Windows Defender has been named good enough in recent years. But is there a better option than just good?

I just run a regular Malwarebytes scan and let Defender do the rest.

Just step into the light and move over to Linux, no worries...

Except that the business apps will stop working which will mean the start of my worries.

fair enough, we run all our servers on linux and haven't had any major issues yet. If I can help it I will never go back to using windows.
Anyway, what I have found to be good personal anti-virus software is Avast, AVG, comodo dragon.

I don't install any anti-virus anymore. Waste of time.

Any dodgy ****, I do in a VM, behind a VPN.

    Nothing at all.

Let the built-in Microsoft tools sort it out.

I've been using Bitdefender for many years now. I am happy with it.
