I don't think I'm alone in seeing this as a phase... kinda like 3D TVs; doable i.t.o. technology but not quite finding somewhere to fit in.

Although if that Huawei ever comes to fruition, it's be the only model out there with enough potential to make it in my eyes.

It's just the large bezel that some people find unappealing, but it doesn't bother me that much. I want one.

    It's inevitable.

This is the first iteration and it's already not too bad. A few years in this tech is going to be all there is.

But I expect them to move from foldable to rollable.

Somewhere in the far and distant future the inevitable remake of Pulp Fiction will feature Uma Thurman's character snorting cocaine through her phone instead of a $100 bill.

Knockoff poster, by the way. Not official obviously

It will eventually replace the need to have a phone and a tablet. And hopefully one day be triple or quad fold to have a phone, tablet and laptop screen in one (with just a dock for keyboard on your desk)

This is not going to last, like 3d screens and projectors on phones.

If it does stay around till 2022 it will get relagated to budget Tablet like devices that you can fold up instead of phones.

The Huawei 1 is the most logical and nicest looking to me so far though.

That would be pretty cool if they could take a regular size phone and allow you to unfold it to four time the size.
