Screen protectors would need to be split otherwise it will never work.

But regardless there are loads of legitimate sources of failing hinges and flakey screens out there, but I agree about the example above on the left...not to much the right.

This is an Alpha level prototype product being released to market.

Been watching some of the unboxing videos and it seems the protective layer is a major issue. Reviewers peeling it off when it needs to stay on and bubbles and other deformities forming that damage the screen

so silly though you would have thought they would have known not to peel away the protective layer

Surely they could have made the protective layer more protective? The way it looks it will start peeling by itself in a week or so like most screen protectors

I think I saw that the AT&T versions had a warning about peeling off the layer may cause permanent damage but the other carriers didn't. A lot of folk peel off the protective layer so samsung should have done a better job of either informing the reviewers or done it in such a way as it could be peeled off if that is possible.

Yeah looks like a major frak up. The other thing that worries me is the 200,000 folds was done by a robot so hasn't undergone the riggers of a proper testing from a human user

Big up on Samsung for trying to relaunch this ridiculous expensive phone but it's still going to break
