    Default Kempton Park Fibre

    Hi guys,

looking at getting fibre in kempton park, if anyone is on it, please share your experience.

To anyone else who is the best fibre/isp combo?

I'm looking at the 20/20fibre with afrihost and they're charging R1067 per month.

Last time I was on afrihost I had massive issues with titanfall 1 and my xbox so I'm not keen on trying them again and I've only seen complaints about them lately, not sure if Gian and the team have improved much.

    Any advice?

  2. Saying Thanks:

i have Vumatel and Cool ideas, 20/2 line, pay 809 pm. Been using it for almost a year now, only had a problem once with the internet speed being slow like maybe 4mbps, i think it lasted for one evening only. Otherwise it has been smooth so far. The setup at the beginning was also pretty fast, got fibre access from Cool Ideas the day Vuma activated the white box.

    How is your latency?

    Are you on xbox/pc/PS4?

I don't have fibre but supersonic has a nice special month to month, free installation, free router and it's approximately R900

id say pretty good, just did a speed test, result is in signature.
Im on pc, for games with eu server being the closest, id say average is around 150ms, overwatch is around 160ms, which is kinda playable, consider i was on adsl with 220ms before. As for games with SA server, like csgo for example i have 5ms ping most of the time, but usually under 20ms just for good measure

Great, we're on ADSL now and moving in the next month or two.

Hoping to get the fibre installed pre-move to the new place and hoping to get ping down from 220 to 180.

    Thanks!
