Doesn't that sound like fun?
How does it work?
Must you work for Sony?
Must you have a special marketing job or be a jounarist?
Must you pay for it or do you get payed?

You start by moving out of SA. I'll give you advice when I actually have the job.
How does it work? You apply
Must you work for Sony? No, you work for game developers
Must you have a special marketing job or be a jounarist? No you just need to be passionate about gaming and it helps to have coding knowledge
Must you pay for it or do you get paid? You must never pay to get in, theres loads of scams out there, proper legit recruits dont charge

It also helps to be a family member or a REALLy good friend of someone who works for a game developer
Just apply on the official site that's how I got into Original Betas or are you looking for the REAL game testing?

I think you are confused, a game tester is someone who works for game development companies, and a Reviewer, who has there own blog, magazine etc, is someone who receives games from distributors, to review.
www.lazygamer.co.za, www.ps3blog.co.za do reviews, so they would get a review copy (WhiteLabel) from Megarom (Distributor) and then write a review on it.
PS3 - GTA IV, LBP, BF:BC, FallOut 3, Guitar Hero III, Guitar Hero: WT, SingStar, Skate, Grid, GT5P, The Simpsons, Buzz, Army Of Two, Top Spin 3, Fifa 08, F1 CE
