Lightbulb Need recommendations - Gaming Laptop

    Yo forum family,

I am scouting the market and for some reason, I honestly do not know what to look for... Any chance some of you guys can help me? So instead of you guys asking me questions and me taking some time to reply ill just leave a little bit of info for you guys to work on to narrow down the possibilities of finding the best one for me.

So this is the little info I have but if you all need more I will try and reply as fast as possible:

    BUDGET: R15K (Max)
    QUALITY: New
Specs: Don't know much about specs hence why I'm coming here to the professionals but It's for gaming and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
Buy from Import or SA: South Africa 100% Also preferably from a well-known place

Mmmm can't think of any other Info I can add? If you guys want more info please ask away

    Thanks a mill all!

I'm planning on trying to get it next week sometime

Keep an eye out on evetech for good deals. Just the other day they had a Lenovo Y530 for somewhere near R16k with a gtx 1060. That deal seems to be gone though but every now and again something good pops up. I wouldn't buy a laptop on takealot... their pricing is often inflated (though the laptop you linked seems decently priced for what you get).

As said above, check evetech. They have the biggest range as far as i've seen and best prices too:

Agree with evetech. Also if you can wait. The new GPUs will be launching in about 3 months.

But this is a good deal even if you have to import.

    It's a 1060 laptop for about R12.5k

Does it have to be a laptop? You can build up a way better Desktop for that price. Gaming laptops are way way overpriced... Will never buy myself one even if I have the money to do so....

OP probably need it for work and gaming at home. Tbh it is way better for the wallet to build a desktop, i agree, the reason why laptops are so expensive is because of the portability
