    Duke Nukem Forever, delayed for ages, released to an underwhelming reception.

    No delay has ever given me joy. It only added to the frustration and fury. If your game is done with alpha and you can move into beta then I would say it is a good time to announce a date. But as it stands we see announcements and the games either never come or they end up being delayed to the point where other games serves as better alternatives.

    I plan my entire year around game release dates so delays really really mess with my scheduling.
