Default Help me build my PC

Hi guys, I currently own a tower like this: https://www.firstshop.co.za/lenovo-v...001KSA-p-44688 (bought from @y2468).

    I'm looking to add this GTX750: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N750OC-2GI#ov

I know that my current tower won't power the graphics card, it comes with a 180w power supply and the card says that it needs 400w.

I'm looking at getting this case, as it comes with a 400w power supply: https://www.takealot.com/premiumsun-...u/PLID54522123

Would that power supply be enough to power the system? Online calculators give me power supply requirements of 212w to 336w.

Is there anything else I should have to worry about? I've heard that the graphics card may need a special adapter to draw power.

Any horror stories about that case or power supply? I notice that it doesn't come with fans and wonder if that will become an issue.

Are you sure that your power supply is 180w?

Ideally you want to get a power supply that is double the size of your consumption. So for a 336w as per the calculator you want a 700W PSU.

I assume so from the brochure, but I haven't opened the case to check. The higher output option on the pc was a 210w supply, which is still below my needs

    Wow, I didn't realise that.
