    Default wifi connections

    Hi all,

So i currently have a 80gb LTE bundle with telkom. Usually this would've last for the month as we don't stream or download much.
Past 2 months however this has run out by the 2nd week. I've checked connections on the huawei app and it's just me and the wifey connected.

Is there any method to check if some hidden connections is taking place?

so i've used the pingtools app and cannot see any unknown connections? seems bulk of data that goes is whenever we switch the modem on and during night surfer. we not using anything during this time and don't have any scheduled updates.

just have to check my wives phone as she says her phones keeps downloading app on her iphoneS but surely it doesn't take like 5-10gb at a time right?

below just a report received from telkom

I never said it was but was enough for me, download the odd movie/series and to game. On average by month end i was left with over 20gb still.
Until last 2 months when the full 80gb would be finished by the 2nd week

my data is depleted, had one of our neighbours come have a look(works for telkom) and he checked our cellphones. apparently my back up data was on and that has been sucking the data?

i don't know if that is it though

Okay man, well I hope that fixed it then. It does sound like a lot of data to back up, but maybe it was sending photos and videos to Google Drive or some other cloud-based app, or even multiple apps.
