Default Xbox One Arcade Fight Stick / Custom Controller

I play mostly Pinball FX3 on my Xbox One.

I have a rough and ready custom controller

but the USB controller I use is for PC.

I'd love to be able to use it on my Xbox One but can't find a cheap replacement board. There are a few expensive commercial controller options available (which I can modify) including...

    - HORI - Real Arcade Pro
    - Mayflash F500

and the Brook Universal Fighting Controller which looks best for my needs but it has to be imported.

I don't know much about it so was hoping that somebody knows of a better alternative that is available here in RSA or if somebody has a second hand Xbox One fighting stick or something similar that I can buy over from them?

Why would you need an arcade stick for pinball?

Personally I use the Hori RAP you posted for the PS4 (buttons swapped out for OBSF Sanwas).

I don't need the arcade stick, I want the controller board inside which I will remap to my custom controller

That Hori new is too expensive for me... my wife won't approve

Couldn't you just buy a cheap, wired Xbox One controller and use the PCB in there?

I can but I am a bit reluctant as my soldering skills are not that hot. That is what I first tried when I first made my custom controller and it sort-of worked but I ended up with dead contacts etc. The USB controller board just worked so much better.

Are you trying to replicate the feel of a pinball machine by housing flipper buttons on the sides of a wooden block?

Yes... In my original post there is a picture of my current box that works really well on my Mac. The Sanwa Arcade buttons that I have gives me the ability to have much finer controll than what I have with an Xbox One controller's triggers or shoulder buttons. You also use a different hand action when you play with the buttons in that position, where you slap / or push the button with straight fingers, compared to pulling with the triggers or shoulder buttons. I don't know if you are familiar with Pinball and Pinball FX3 specifically, but they added Williams Pinball in 2018 to all their existing tables and for these real world tables they have updated their physics engine to be much faster and realistic compared to their original arcady physics. You can thus do realistic flipper tricks / skills such as a live catch, drop catch, or tip pass and for all of these you need fine controll which is just much more doable with the custom controller box.

I figured out that the Hori Fighting Commander for Xbox One can also work as it has an easy board to solder on. The only place I could find it in South Africa is Raru and they are unfortunately out of stock.
