Default DS is a hidden GEM.

    Hi

When the DS hit the SA market I didnt even bat an eye. For some reason it didnt capture my attention and I didnt know anybody who had one.

Last year I saw one for R300 at a Cash converters and decided to get it. A few months later and I have a stack of cartridges and an R4 cart.

The DS I have learned is awesome!

The graphics have obviously aged but the gameplay and gamelibrary are incredible.

I enjoy the puzzle games, platformers and even the FPS games. I am currently playing the Proffessor Layton series, Bejeweled and am using the Korg music production software.

    What are you playing?

Isn't the DS the best selling handheld of all time? Can hardly be classified as a hidden gem...

As I posted I made this realisation...I should have said "The DS is a GEM".

Im not sure why I ignored it for so long. Just glad I can still enjoy it now.

I have seen that game online and it looked like something I would be interested in. I will give it a play based on your recommendation.
