DS is a hidden GEM.

Hi

When the DS hit the SA market I didnt even bat an eye. For some reason it didnt capture my attention and I didnt know anybody who had one.

Last year I saw one for R300 at a Cash converters and decided to get it. A few months later and I have a stack of cartridges and an R4 cart.

The DS I have learned is awesome!

The graphics have obviously aged but the gameplay and gamelibrary are incredible.

I enjoy the puzzle games, platformers and even the FPS games. I am currently playing the Proffessor Layton series, Bejeweled and am using the Korg music production software.

As I posted I made this realisation...I should have said "The DS is a GEM".

Im not sure why I ignored it for so long. Just glad I can still enjoy it now.

I've actually forgotten how to reply on this forum so apologies if the format comes out wrong.....but so glad to see you've joined the DS army!!! better late than never! and more so that you're playing Professor Layton- honestly one of my favourite game series EVER, I actually bought myself a DsiXL just for when I replay the Laytons, the cinematic cut-scenes are just glorious....which one are/were you busy with??

I was playing 'Miracle Mask' on 3DS and 'Curious Villiage' on DS. I played quite a bit, but was playing via downloaded roms. I have since had a change of heart regarding pirated games, so I deleted them. Once I have the originals I will play again.

I am currently playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on 3DS and 'Super Mario Bros' on DS.

How is that DSi xl treatiung you?
