Yeah I think the consensus is that revealing to the public or work colleagues in the form of a t-shirt or apparel is kinda taboo and makes them see you in a lesser light unfortunately. There is a definite stigma attached to it but for those who are really passionate it doesn't seem to be an issue really

I work for a tech company and that’s probably why it’s not weird to me. Lots of people with gaming related gear and even tattoo’s for that matter.

Got absolutely nothing at all to do with stigma for me.

Just not things I really focus on.

I generally wear unbranded clothing unless it was something I scored on some special or some such.

Most people in my office are gamers as well, but it’s not like you’d know it by looking at their desks or whatever.

    Nothing taboo about it.

Mantis is purposefully obtuse and stubborn, fuelled by fanboyism he will defend contrived rationale to the point of contradiction. Noman - 2019

So true. Its weird, when I'm at the PC I do get called a nerd, and when I'm at the PS4 on the couch I get called a slacker and lazy, and told to grow the fk up.

It's just my own conscience, maybe I should move out of my own head for a while

Probably aimed at school kids not grumpy old gamers that just want to game and not put stickers on our pencil cases
