Dead Space is locked to 30FPS on PC as well. I was playing it a while back and unlocking the framerate caused my mouse to become extremely unresponsive. Don't know if I did something wrong but I just left it.

I got past that by unticking vsync in the game while ticking vsync in the nvidia control panel.

Spent the weekend with Metro Exodus, finished the main game and the first DLC (which is excellent). I have to say though, the game really needs that promised patch. It seems to have a 30fps cap at the moment, and honestly feels like you are moving in syrup. Can't wait for the patch. After you've played games at 60fps it is really hard to go back to a 30fps game.

I have had the same experience with Control.

60FPS it is buttery smooth, in 30FPS it feels like you are moving in syrup. Not even RT at 30 can make up for the downgrade in fps.

Now you all starting to finally get it. This is why I got a PC a decade ago. Because once you used to it 30fps is a lag fest. It should have died before the last generation. Very happy its finally a focus now. Cool having the option but no amount of bling is worth that fps cut.

Most people have 2 eyes though. 30 + 30 == 60fps capped. 120hz is a lie

honestly - most of us started noticing the big difference last gen with Doom.
