Instead of buying an Xbox, I'm going to paint my PC green and buy a nice TV to hook up to it instead.

Already have Gamepass on the PC, it's great value, if you don't have a l33t gam0r PC, the R6999 + Gamepass is pretty damn good value for money IMO, especially compared to the disaster the PS5 pricing is, you'd have to be a Sony cultist to pay that much for a diskless console.

The primary difference between Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is in resolution. Through talking to our customers, we found that many of our fans prioritize framerate over resolution, so we wanted to build a console that didn’t require a 4K TV. Xbox Series S delivers approximately 3x the GPU performance of Xbox One and was designed to play games at 1440p at 60 frames per second, with support for up to 120fps. With the increased efficiency we get from the next generation AMD RDNA 2 graphics architecture combined with the virtual memory multipliers enabled through the Xbox Velocity Architecture, Xbox Series S will deliver performance and experiences well beyond the raw specs. In addition, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S share the same development environment, tools and capabilities, all of which enable developers to build and release their content across consoles more easily while still taking advantage of the unique hardware capabilities of the next generation.

Is it a Game Pass thing to play 5 games at once like a ADHD street rat on Tik?
No wonder the Passers?, Gapers? (yeah I'm call them Gapers!) are concerned about storage space!

Jokes aside, is this a standby feature or does it persist with power loss? Because Eskom...

I think that it keeps the state even after a full power down, I read or heard it somewhere.

I will use it for jumping between my MP and SP games.

SSD save state not memory save state, so you can unplug it and move to another country and plug it in and it will quick resume.

That would be great. I never use the quick resume (whatever you call it) feature on my PS because I don't leave my console on standby.
The storage with the new gen stuff is fast enough. Just dump the ram to disk and hibernate.

I’ve let my PlayStation in standby and game in resume for months on end.
Now and again a game will crash though.

Even if is just for 1 game it means you can continue your session the next day within seconds and power it down.

    That alone is great.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Eskom pulls your power, you can't resume, right?
