Thanks for the info. Will there be a notable difference between the OneS and SeriesS versions? COD BR specifically.
When zooming in on the OneS some of the artifacts take super long to render

I can't comment on the S but won't be too concerned going forward, within the next year all the games will be current gen versions of the game.
If you are not going to upgrade to a 4K TV then just stick to the S.

Ok last question...
On the SeriesS, will you be able to run 1440p at 120HZ with a monitor with these specs:
- 27" VA (Vertical Alignment) Panel
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0
- WQHD (2560x1440) Resolution
- 144Hz Refresh Rate
I seem to be getting mixed answers on Google.
S is effectively a 1080p machine. prob 900p moving forward to maintain frame rate with newer more demanding titles becoming commonplace.
IMO don't do it. hold out for Series X.

HDMI 120Hz at 1440p is supported by hdmi 2.0 so I dont think it will be an issue.
This is simple.
If you want 4k get a series X. If 1080p is good enough get a Series S.
I really enjoy the series S. Not as much as my ps5, but for the price, you get a beast of a machine, and gamepass makes the value even more insane.
Final Fantasy 15 was disappointing. Hype failed me. I am Squirtbird.

This is an issue with certain 1440P Monitors, Basically the Monitor can only output 1440p 144Hz over the Display Port and not the HDMI port.
Check the Monitors HDMI specs, If the Monitor's HDMI can support 1440P 120 then it should work but there are many 1440P displays that only support 1440P 60Hz over the HDMI.
There might also be a firmware update for your monitor as well that can improve the HDMI to 120Hz.
Here is some info in the below thread as well.

Just note that you can't get HDR on 1440p@120Hz. HDR on XB only works when outputting 4k (60Hz or 120Hz)
