Default Earbud Tip Size - How to know which are correct size

I got some Mpow M30 wireless earbuds (below) and they are my first pair of earbuds. Sound great, nice bass and treble, fit well, overall happy with them, touch controls for volume, previous, next, pause, play, Siri/Google. These Mpow's are designed for exercising as the have a rubber ridges/fins to hold them in the ear. Overall, a decent pair of buds.

I got them as I normally wear Sennheiser MX470 wired earphones (below), but with exercising and running they fall out easily making them a PITA for exercising.

I am trying to determine which tips I should be using...

    Small tips
    • Slightly less "pressure" in the ear canal (no pain)
    • Seal feels slightly looser
    • Audio sounds good, but slight less punchy and bassy.
    • Biting my teeth gives less feedback into ears

Medium tips (what I currently have in)

    • Slightly more "pressure" in the ear canal (no pain)
    • Seal feels slightly tighter
    • Audio sounds good, punchy and more bassy.
    • Biting my teeth gives more feedback into ears

Anybody give some advice on wearing earbuds. What should I be looking for?

Maybe wear a headband around your ears to keep them in?

Is it the kind of tips pictured, or foam tips?

Rubber/silicon tips and fins as in picture. Tips come in small, medium and large. The large tips were too big, felt very uncomfortable.

I'm not a fan of silicone tips personally, they don't do much. Go with whatever sits the most comfortably.

You think foam might be better. Getting some thumping when running

Definitely, they do a much better job of isolating you from outside noise. Comply makes foam tips for most brands that don't otherwise offer them.

  9. Saying Thanks:
