Default Steelseries Arctis 7X or Turtle Beach Stealth 600x Gen 2?

I need a new headset and the wifey said I can have one as a Christmas gift. I have some criteria what my next headset should have. So far it should be wireless and I must be able to use it on my Xbox and PC. So currently I've narrowed it down to these two headsets, but the problem is I'm struggling to choose and here's why:

Checked a few reviews and video's and they seem to be pretty much the same with a most reviews just barely scoring the Arctis 7x better due to comfort mostly.

    Arctis 7x / Arctis 7
Pros: I currently have have the Steelseries Arctis 3 and loving it. It's the most comfortable headset I've ever had. Can barely feel it even with long sessions. It's comfortable with my glasses on and the sound is great. I really can't fault them anywhere.
Cons: I will need to import them and will be a bit more expensive than the Turtle Beach.

    Stealth 600x
Pros: Buying locally and little bit cheaper than the Arctis 7x.
Cons: Further I have no idea as I've never tried them. My only experience was testing out a pair of Astro A40's a few years back and the padding was hard. Not sure if this is the same with other models.

So, if anyone has experience with these and can give me an opinion, that will be great!

Should be max R3000 after customs and shipping, but bargaining on a little less.

SteelSeries US store with AGS forwarding.

I say stick to what you know the Arctis 7X should be more of the same and if you are happy with that unlikely to be disappointed.

The Turtle Beach from what I've said is a bit more plastic and lower quality feeling but they do say it's got a more bombastic sound profile with the larger drivers and allegedly does music better, the microphone on the other hand is pure crap it seems.

Unless you want something drastically different for reasons of swopping between them, I would just buy the SS again with the added benefit of wireless and likely an even more comfortable fit.

The whole "buying local" thing is such a logical fallacy we squeeze ourselves into these days that honestly doesn't exist any more.

What you could do maybe especially if you don't have an AGS account already, is wait for it to list on Amazon and then get it from there.

I was looking for the 7x
and local suppliers all said I was gonna probably wait a while before they get stock, so I bought Arctis 5's

everything is great on them except I dont find them comfortable at all

after 30 min of play my ears ache and I have small ears, unsure if 7x will have same cushioning, i doubt it, but yeah. nothing has ever felt as comfy as my previous hyperx cloud 2's

Do you have an estimated time when you will know the customs and shipping costs?

Hopefully before the end of the month.

Customs on the 9X is R500 on Amazon so it can’t be more than that.

Headset landed at AGS now. Should know the final charges in a day or two.
