Steelseries Arctis 7X or Turtle Beach Stealth 600x Gen 2?

I have the Arctis 7s (2018 version i think) and i was never really impressed with the sound quality in games with it, i think the PS4 Platinum Headset did a better job. For Call of Duty i could always hear footsteps better with the Platinum Headset, no matter how many times i tried different settings.

but yeah thats just my experience. if your happy with the Arctis then maybe stick with what you know.

That's interesting as I bought my Arctis 3's in 2017 and they are everything that I need and have pin point accuracy every time. But I do see that some people also have issues. Maybe it's faulty?

I am using the EPOS/Sennheiser GSP 600. Best headset that I have ever owned and really comfortable.

Don't think its faulty, my friend i play COD with also bought the same headset at the time and we both had the Platinums previously and he agrees with me, i never thought the price was worth what you got for the arctis 7s. if i could go back id buy the 3s or 5s, the price difference isn't worth it, it is a very comfy headset though.

hmmmmm, I have been looking at Arctis 7X, but now you make me doubt.

Are you talking about sound quality as in equalizer settings, or connectivity issues with drop outs?

I have the normal 7s, not the pro or 7x. (those came out after we got ours)

You have plenty equalizer settings to edit in the app on the PC, but Actual sound depth never seemed to be what we were expecting or what we wanted for a top of the range headset. Especially for us playing competitive Call of duty. never had any connectivity issues or drop outs, although my friend headset is losing some sound in the left side every now and then (probably just a lose connection because when he taps the left ear cup the sound comes back)

I can share the presets I have on my 9x? Great sound depth when used with Atmos on Xbox.

Great for footsteps and localization. Atmos for headset on xbox and the performance setting disabled.
