Hi friends,

So I got this unit in December and have had some curious sound issues.

I am running an old home theatre in a box for the Arc, when I switch on the tv it switches on the dvd unit and goes to digital in, however no sound plays.

I have to cycle through optical and and tv sound and back to hdmi then the sound plays. Switching off the tv switches off the dvd unit.

With the next session I have to go through the same steps. I haven't really seen a fix on the net.

So is this just a case of my sound is too old or can I fix it?
