Just to let you all know cool ideas has confirmed free speed upgrades for those of us on openserve. I'm pretty darn happy to be going from 100mb to 200mb and the extra increase for my upload to now go to 100mb will be most welcome 😊

so i contacted my ISP over the upgraded line speeds by openserve. Told them quite a few ISPs were upgrading their client speeds for free. They advised me that long term what these ISPs may be doing may not be sustainable and may result in inconsistent speeds and possible shaping. they further told me that what makes up for not doing like the rest of the ISP is their customer service and added value (i do not disagree with them on this statement) but unhappy that rocketnet is not even giving more speed although they are not having a price increase this year too. anyways just some feedback on a email i sent to them.
I did write them an email back saying price is the main factor for many a customer when choosing their ISP and it may lead to them pricing themselves out of the market. Also told them their extra service they provided is secondary if there is a large price discrepancy.
I wont drop them for now as i have had very constant speeds with them and have liked their prompt customer service and added value.

i am with rocketnet, their customer service and added value ( like an app which does various diagnostics) are excellent. and i have little to nothing downtime. Usually always get my full speeds. Only issue i am having with them is that they not giving an increase in speeds as other openserve ISPs ARE. although they are not increasing their price for this year to remain competitively priced.
can use
