A bugger problem? Bugger is old english slang for bum sex. If that is going on in my body I have a bigger problem than heartburn.

This isn't the 90s, love yourself for who you are, unless your heart didn't consent, then there needs to be concern

I feel your pain man. It sounds like a trivial thing. But when it gets really bad it can prevent you from doing anything.

I get hiccups for 3 days straight each and every time I have a cortisone shot which is 2 to 3 times a year. It gets so bad that I am pretty much unable to eat anything without it coming back up because of the spasms, until about day 3. Causes intense heartburn and the constant muscle spasm in the chest causes an ache akin to when you've hit the bench press too hard. It is Quite unbearable, and I've never been able to find anything that works.

Good luck mate. Hope it stops soon.

I used to get hiccups basically everyday. Mostly when I laugh. I thought that maybe I don't breathe properly when I laugh. I usually tried to focus hard on one thing until my body "forgets" to hiccup.

I also had heartburn almost daily, but it kind of went away when we went on the Keto diet. If @Gandalf_storm is saying these two are related, I'm not laughing less like I just realized, since hiccups aren't frequent anymore, but maybe had something else wrong.

    Ive tried all google options

On a serious note are you drinking a little less? Drinking in excess causes major heartburn/hiccup problems, when was in the states I would take something called Tums but dont think you get that here.

You need to suck in as much air into your lungs as possible, hold your breath, then carry on trying to suck in even more - little sucks until your lungs are completely full and unable to contract. Now hold your breath for as long as you possibly can, if you feel space in your lungs, suck in some more air - but don't let any air escape!

Exhale once you get to the point that you absolutely have to breath again and - voila!
I do the exact same thing when taking a bong hit.
