    Default Am I wasting my time going Telkom shop for account problems.

    I don't want waste my time going today and standing in a queue to be told that they can fix my problem. Which is they were meant cancel my LTE if I took a fibre contract. I did but my LTE is still going and I'm still getting invoiced.

    Pretty sure they will tell you to call the centre or do it yourself via the website.

    Do you have proof that you cancelled it? If you do, then take the chance, I failed at my attempt to convince them that we had ported our telephone line over to Voys - luckily after that Voys took over and handled the fight on our behalf, and 3 years later we stopped getting lawyer letters and threats to be blacklisted and no more accounts - we refused to pay for the service from telkom hence the threats. I even sent the lawyers all the info of our cancellation and they also spoke to telkom to cancel and clear our account. That was fun.

    Did you remove the sim from its device? Cancelled 2 contracts about 3 months apart and had no problems. As soon as I got confirmation of the cancelation I shut down the device and by the third of the new month the LTE was cancelled on my account.

    You are wasting your time going to store.
    They are only trained on selling products not any training on support at all and wont know how to help you - they will refer you to the call center.

    Telkom's business model is 99.9% Sales and 0.1% Support.

    When I had ADSL I was with Telkom and I never had any support issues, matter of fact they always gave me awesome support, and when they took long to solve an issue, they gave me a discount on my premium (for that month) as compensation.
    Now I am with Supersonic, I regret it so much!!!!... Supersonic does not have any support structure in place.

    Back to the OP's question, yes, you are wasting your time, call them.
