Default PSP Store Closes Tomorrow (02/07/2021)

The PSP store is scheduled to close tomorrow.

Another forum member (Juda01) has told me that the local store is already inaccessible.
It's worth trying it out *if* there's something you still want digitally, specifically is it's PSP only.

While we're at it, what were you favourite games on PSP?

I loved JRPGs and SRPGs, but also racing games like Ridge Race and Wipeout.

    Other faves:

    Disgaea
    FFT
    Valkyrie Profile
    Syphon Filter
    The GoW games

DBZ Shin Budokai, NFS Prostreet, FIFA 10, Assassins Creed Bloodlines.

Loved playing on it in the car while travelling on holiday or at breaks at school.

Looking back at the specs now, its insane how good the games were on a portable with a 333MHz CPU, 64Mb of ram, 2Mb of VRAM and a 480x272 display.

The PSP was a PS2 in portable format which was something the PSVita never was to the PS3.

Yeah, I was under the impression that some PSP games were only purchasable from a PSP itself. I gave that a try yesterday but I couldn't find some of those games (like Ape Quest) which were meant to be removed.

This is very true. We had proper games and loads of dev support for the PSP. It was a technical marvel.
