    Default Older iPhone advice.

I'm looking at getting my daughter (and possibly myself) a refurbished, older iPhone.

They have a few sites here that do this sort of thing and i've used one in the past to get my older daughter an iPhone X at a decent price which was in pretty good condition. The options now are many more however and just wanted to see what the opinions were on:

    iPhone XS vs
    iPhone XR vs
    iPhone SE 2020.

From what i can see the XS is better than the XR but for some reason that i might be missing the XR is more expensive than the XS for the same storage and condition. Just want to see if i'm not getting something.

If not this leaves the XS vs the SE and cosmetically i get that there is a big difference but in all other aspects the SE seems quite a bit better than the XS with the exception of the screen.

Anyone feel strongly about one over the other?

    For reference the prices are:

    XS 256gb, excellent condition = $465 = R5,220
    SE 256gb , excellent condition = $468 = R5,252
    SE 128gb, excellent condition = $380 = R4,265

Going up to the iPhone 11 is too much of a price jump i feel.

I'm currently still using a 6s Plus which runs everything properly but the battery is giving me problems. I would consider going over to Android but the ease of simply moving everything over to a new iPhone is very appealing to me since i don't really care what OS i'm on.

SE better chip but meh the button of yester year
XR sub par screen to the XS , one less camera
XS better (same chip as XR)

SE has a better chip but overall XS would be my choice

I'd go for the stronger chip - will last longer. Unless you want better cameras.

SE would be the best option with the higher chip.

    Choose iPhone XS.
Even though the SE has better chipset, the battery (1821 mAh) just can't keep up. I seen people with 77% battery health after 1 year of use, meaning they are charging multiple times per day.
