unrestricted apn

i have a vodacom lte connection that i want to use for gaming on my ps4. it gives a type 3 nat. i have tried port forwarding, dmz and upnp without success. would getting vodacom to to change my connection to an unrestricted apn get the nat to type 2? does anyone have an unrestricted apn and have had any problems with it?

I remember this is what you had to do back in the day to get Nat type 2,

You could do it yourself if you knew the apn settings exactly. I'm sure you could find it online and not have to deal with vodacom, if you do have to deal with them, tell them it's needed for your security cameras.

i did call their support. i have to sign a form stating i won't hold them responsible for any damage or loss from having access be restricted. they will then set it up on their end within 2 business days.

That is industry practise, cell c was the same

two week later, after saying it would take 2 business days to do, i have my unrestricted apn. does anyone know what apn settings would go on my router for vodacom lte?

All default settings and set APN as unrestricted.

thanks. these are the current settings. only change apn from 'internet' to 'unrestricted'?
