I agree, who watches TV at 20 degree angles?
Viewing angles on my Q80T is definitely not an issue.

It offers nothing extra other than better black frame insertion and you loose DTS X along with the TV using the 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 instead of 48Gbps. No idea if that will actually have any issues in the future but I believe the C1 or their new series is pretty much the same as the CX?
I want to try using it with my PC but I think the size is going to put me off. There is also something mystical about ultrawide that I don't necessarily want to give up.
But probably on saterday for R20k or so. Will make a post in the marketplace if it comes to that.

I assume you mean between my q6f and the Q80?
Q80 has much better local dimming meaning less blooming. Deeper blacks.
In 2020 models As far as I know anything below Q80T doesn't have local dimming.
I would personally not go for anything without local dimming. It really does make a large impact especially on HDR Content.

Yes, 2018 models had a different naming scheme.
In some markets it was the Q6fn, in others just the "f". It's becoming quite difficult to keep up with any of these model names.
I had a hell of a tough time confirming specs when I bought the Q900R. There were 2 versions of it, one released in 2018 without HDMI 2.1, and another identically named model in 2019 with HDMI 2.1. on top of that, they came out with 2 different OneConnect boxes also (again with and without Hdmi2.1 support). The local sales guys at the retailer had no idea what was actually in the box. I specifically wanted the unit with HDMI 2.1 naturally.
All worked out in the end but what a pain it was to confirm anything.
