In Assassin's Creed Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions seeking answers and justice.

Join an ancient organisation and come to understand a new creed – one that will change Basim’s fate in ways he never could have imagined.

I am thinking of getting UbiPlus for this, or maybe just buy the game.

It is a lot smaller and should be a lekker experience.

They have a special here for £1 for first month. Need to see what they have to offer as this special finished end of the week.

Assassin's Creed Mirage arrives in October, and we're gradually learning more about it as it approaches: we know an Assassin's Creed Mirage completion will take up to 30 hours, we know "there's no XP-based progression" in Mirage, and that there won't be "real gambling or loot boxes" in the game. A leaked image, however, seems to show an Assassin's Creed Mirage gear pack, suggesting that there will be microtransactions in the game.

Ubi saying it doesn't have "real gambling or loot boxes" is a cop out. Their games haven't done that in who knows how many years. You know exactly what you're being fleeced for.

What's more offensive with Mirage is that it's a relatively short game. They already have some pressure to develop a high quality experience for the hours on offer, especially given the price, so I'm amazed they're going to do their usual Ubi **** with microtransactions.

I'm going to be using UbiPlus quite a bit, it's the first time it's actually worth the huge fee for 30 days. The Crew Motorfest (Horizon vibes), AC Mirage and the new Avatar game all seem decent.

I'm really considering just activating U+ sub for a month to play it. But I'll see what the reviews say first.

Playing it on PC at the moment. Looks good, beautiful setting, awesome to be back in a huge city, the story is setting up nicely, and I like the return of bribing public figures, removing wanted posters, etc.

But boy, there's a lot of stealth. Seems like every early mission is "Go to X and save/find Y"
And it's a whole lot harder than back in AC1 because the outposts and forts are just getting bigger and bigger which makes it hard to move undetected.
I'm 3.5 hours in and it feels like I've had a handful of fights, and in one I got destroyed by these new elites that only take damage from behind.

Overall a nice change of pace though, AC Odyssey/Valhalla was full-on combat Spartan and Viking style, this is back to the roots of AC1.

I am looking forward to all the stealth [emoji4]

Will make a start on it soon I hope. Busy working my way through Borderlands 2 which I need to finish, else I will never go back to it for a 3rd time.

Well, I have almost finished this.

Thoroughly enjoyed the change in gameplay, glad it moved back to the older AC gameplay somewhat.

Probably will be clocking in at around 25 to 30 hours with quite a few side quests done.

I am not really into the stealth thing, I am too impatient.

I will give it a go when my Game Pass backlog is cleared, hopefully I have time to do that in the holidays.

Not trolling, but maybe you should have rather played Ghost of Tsushima.

It is objectively better at everything that AC Mirage does, plus a very well designed endgame co-op mode (Legends).

Is it on PS+, I see my sub only expires next year?
