Car stuff and other things with wheels that move

My Dad had a goldy/bronzy 2.0 Sierra as a company car. When he was overseas, because of the petrol card it came with, my mom would use it. One day bouncing out of school I saw the car, ripped open the door, put my bag in and sat down.

When I turned to say hi to her I looked straight at a very confused but amused strange lady.
My mom had parked a bit further down the row.
 
They were very common - a friend of mine in primary school rode in a 2.0 Sierra station wagon. These cars were very common - now you hardly see them, let alone two so close to each other in the same parking lot.
 
The 3L is pretty minty, I drove a Cortina with 3L V6 once, which is probably what that has and it was quite a beast.
But drank extremely heavy
 
My friends dad had a Ford Sapphire 3L auri

I remember the car used to jolt when changing gears as was the norm for autos in the early 90s.
