We need one of these as well to discuss the latest disappointments from Scuderia.

After the summer break, hoping Mercedes can close the gap a bit. We did not see the true performance of the upgrades they brought to Spa because of the 1-hour practice only. They only normally get the car set up in FP3.

Read a report yesterday that next year, the Alfa's might be using a rebranded RB19. Imagine what Red Bull have in the bag if they're happy to let "another" team use their current car!

if they are this dominant again next year the FIA needs to step in just as they did after the 2020 Merc with DAS etc. That's only if the other teams don't close the gap. Mercedes might close the gap next with James Allison and the new concept. Ferrari should have been closer this year considering they were the 2nd fastest car last year but I have zero hope for Ferrari.

The only way the FIA will solve the dominance is by forcing Adrian Newey to retire!

I'm surprised they've managed to change their sidepods 3 times and no cost cap issues were raised :P

I'm waiting to see which teams are over the cap for 2022. The rumors are that there are 3 teams over and normally the rumors are always correct lol. Redbull has to be over again. Last year they even brought a new Chassis upgrade to the RB18. Mercedes can't change the chassis of the W14 because of the cost Cap. Redbull are the only team that can somehow bring a new chassis upgrade.

Nah.. chassis is a typo for catering 😉

RB had 2010-2013 before regs were changed.
Merc had 2014-2016 before regs were changed.

RB will have 2022-2025 before regs change, because this RB18 is going in the history books like the RB9, W05, W11, F2002 and MP4/4. What a dominant car.

I used to support Ferrari when Kimi and Vettel were still there, but they catch on kak with their brilliant strategy calls, so its Red Bull, I'm also happy to see the diva crying every other race

Just glad to have have Ricciardo back and see how/if he can push Yuki and Checo since they are going to be scrutinised against him now. Lots of pressure on those 3 after the break.

Fall way by Aston Martin has been disappointing after their amazing start but the resurgence of McLaren has sort of made up for it. Outside of position 1 there has been a lot of close racing going on.

Yeah basically like the merc era, the racing is much closer once you remove those cars from the equation. I think bar a major catastrophe, Perez is safe for the year however if Danny Ric does the business in the AT, then next year we may see a driver swap. Yuki is not going to threaten the RB seat imo.

Agree with that. Ricciardo will have to beat him pretty comprehensively though to make a proper claim for the RB seat. But then it looks like the AT will be a much better car next year.

Hopefully some of the teams that have shown improvement keep doing that but both RB and Merc have moved on to next year's car. So that advantage just keeps on rolling.
