Good morning, I created a SAGF club on Xbox in the hope that we can play against each others ghosts in rivals modes and drivatars in races.

Also, if you're keen to add some times to your Friends leader boards, then drop your Gamertags below so that we can all add each other.

My GT is Tonybighit

Was sitting up to try it out last night only for it to take as long to copy from my 8TB to the Internal as actually downloading it since the bloody pre-load did nothing.

It's difficult to know if you might hit someone at the start of the race if you're driving in cockpit view, wish they had an indicator or something, the side and rearview mirrors arent the best. The penalty system is forgiving but still, people might think you're being a d!ck if you cut them off.

Oh that's interesting as that used to be there in the past.

They could have made it just like real world Blind Spot indicators.

I somehow doubt racing cars have blind spot indicators ;)

Ha, that they definitely don’t but you also have way more peripheral awareness and noise.

I just meant they could put an unobtrusive orange dot on the edge of the screen and even make it beep like the real thing.

The option for this is under Gameplay & HUD > Proximity Arrows

So I spent a bit of time with the game last night and it’s definitely a lot more hardcore than it was in the past, at least with the settings I’ve chosen.

There’s an element of Project Cars to it which I didn't like at first but after some time found myself feeling this is what real racing feels like.

At first you feel maybe the AI is very stupid (I'm playing on 5 I think) but then soon you realise they are driving more like real people and not just simply following the perfect line all in a row like in the past. They make mistakes and they compete with each other and do erratic things and sometimes even get aggressive and this is really good once you settle into it and remember the perfect rubber band systems of days gone by.

Lime Rock is an awesome track with vibes of a narrow Road Atlanta. Kyalami is actually damn hard.

Rain on a track with Dolby Atmos is amazing and the audio in general is great.

I hope the format of the campaign changes a bit as you get deeper into it. Practise makes sense to me now to learn tracks etc but I hope it’s not forced on you throughout.

Lime Rock is a fantastic track, I saw the narrow roads and went uh oh, but the track flows so nicely that it's easy not to go off. Think I get more 10 segment scores on that track than any other.

Oh and add my friend invite ;)

Pretty sure I added you.

Yeah it just flows so well on an A/B-class car but might get hairy on the faster ones later.

One of those tracks you can just get off the throttle and push through on the fast sections.

Catalunya in the pissing rain with thunderbolts and lighting everywhere in Dolby Atmos is something else.

The use of vertical channels adds a whole new dimension.

Google "Forza Motorsport Money Glitch".

Basically 5 hours of grinding to own all cars, expect that to be patched soon.
