Leaked images reveal Lenovo’s Steam Deck competitor with a hint of the Switch

Valve’s Steam Deck might be getting more competition. Last month, Windows Central reported that Lenovo is working on a handheld gaming PC that runs Windows called the Legion Go, and on Wednesday, Windows Report published what appear to be the first images of the upcoming device.

Based on the images, Lenovo’s take on a PC gaming handheld looks a lot like devices such as the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally, but it also has a lot in common with the Nintendo Switch. According to Windows Report, the Legion Go has an eight-inch screen, images show two Joy-Con-like controllers that can be removed, and it even appears to have a wide Switch OLED-like kickstand that you can pop out for tabletop gaming

Very interesting! I'm curious to see how the Legion Go compares to the Steam Deck in terms of performance and game compatibility when running Windows. Competition in this space could push more innovation.

Loving all these new PC handhelds coming out. Market is maturing nicely but before I pull the trigger I need to see what Xbox and Sony are going to do in this space.

MS already rumored to be getting into it and with Sony putting more titles on PC if they expand on that and let me use my PSN account then I’ll be in for sure.

I think its best that Xbox works with AMD to create a dealw here their games works on a App on existing handhelds etc

Since you can use xbox game pass on the legion go by the looks of it
sony should also get on board since their games gone to PC which seems to be the incoming future for consoles is to just release on PC as well since the user base is huge anyway can run games at the cost of a console (gpu wise)

Nintendo i must say opened that market well done to them cause maybe thats why Steam came out with the deck and hence we got all the others running on that Z1 chip which is crazy how powerfull that is

would be great if nvidia came back to the market with this

Don’t agree with the Sony part. Sony must keep their exclusives on a 1 year delay to PC. Then they can still control the home console space and make money later on with PC sales.

Except for live service games. Those should be day 1.

Xbox have to do something because they’ve lost the console market.
