What This Forum Is

This forum is a small, community-driven space focused on video games. Most activity is casual discussion between members. We do not operate at the scale of large social platforms and we do not use complex automated moderation systems.

How Moderation Works

Moderation on this forum is primarily manual and reactive. That means:

• We do not proactively monitor every post before it appears.
• We act when content is reported by users or noticed by staff.
• Staff review reports individually and decide what action to take.

Actions we may take include editing or removing content, issuing warnings, or restricting or closing accounts where necessary.

What Content Is Not Allowed

Our Terms & Rules explain in detail what is not allowed. In summary, you must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, offensive, contains adult or inappropriate material, reveals personal information of others, infringes copyright, or encourages unlawful activity.

How to Report Content

If you see content that you believe is illegal or violates our Terms & Rules, you can:

• Use the built-in Report button on the post, or
• Contact us directly and include a link to the content and a brief explanation.

Reports are reviewed by staff as soon as reasonably possible. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe content is illegal or violates our Terms & Rules, we will take appropriate action.

How We Handle Reports

When we receive a report, we will:

1. Review the reported content and any context.
2. Decide whether it violates our Terms & Rules or applicable law.
3. Take action where appropriate (for example, remove the content, issue a warning, or restrict an account).
4. Where necessary, prevent repeat behaviour (for example, by suspending or banning an account).

Complaints and Appeals

If you believe moderation action has been taken in error, you may contact us to request a review. Please explain which action you are appealing and why you believe it was incorrect. We will consider your complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Use of Automated Tools

We may use limited automated tools such as spam-prevention services to reduce obvious spam and abuse. We do not use automated systems to make final decisions about individual users or posts; moderation decisions are made by humans.
